Zanzibar appreciates a tropical beachfront climate affected by monsoons rains with the lowest night temperatures that even in the coldest months never dip under 19¡Æ C and the most extreme daytime temperatures in the hottest months never move over 33° C.
The Zanzibar Archipelago's dry season is from July to September. Most times of the year are pleasant, with temperatures and sunny days the standard. Amid the short rains in November and December, deluges are followed by blue skies, with just the months of April and May being the time of the 'long downpours' and exceptionally wet.
Humidity is generally high all year round.
